The NHS3153 is an IC optimized for realizing therapy adherence monitoring and loggingsolutions. The main features are an embedded NFC interface, a resistive networksensing-interface, an internal temperature sensor and a direct battery connection. TheNHS3153 allows the creation of an effective system solution supporting a single layerfoil implementation for pill usage monitoring of up to 21 pills. The NHS3153 workseither battery-powered or NFC-powered.
The embedded ARM Cortex-M0+ offers flexibility to the users of this IC, enabling them toimplement their own dedicated solution. The NHS3153 contains multiple features like aselectable CPU frequency up to 8 MHz and various power-down modes for ultra-low powerconsumption for ultra-low power consumption.
